Bob Maphet and Brian Sollenberger have been sharing their love of brewing and beer for over 20 years, and this local extension of their Mukilteo facility was a hit as soon as it opened its doors. Regulars rave about the tater tots, the huge weekend breakfasts, and seasonal offerings like the Binnacle Summer Ale. If you haven’t been to this welcoming watering hole, it’s time to fix that, it’ll make you want to head north and tour the brewery!

Who says summer is only for the two-legged members of the family? The season also provides a great opportunity to get our furry friends to a place where there’s ample room to run, and the woodsy setting and nearly an acre of space make MLP’s Off Leash Dog Park just what the vet ordered! It’s also a great opportunity to bond with other local owners, so your pup isn’t the only one who can expect to make new friends!

If you’re a cyclist who’s turned your commute to Seattle or Everett into something you welcome rather than dread, the Lakeview Trail is no secret. But this paved, 12-foot-wide trail makes a fantastic destination even on a day off, as it allows for locals a great chance to bike, blade, or just stroll near beautiful Ballinger Lake without worrying about any motorized traffic. Make it a weekly outing during the summer, and you’ll likely find yourself here year round!
